Suspense is another word for tension. The audience will not know what is going on until the big moment that makes them jump. It creates anticipation as they are unaware of what is about to happen. An example of a thriller film that creates suspense is Final Destination. In the supernatural thriller film, suspense is created throughout the entire film as the audience is kept in suspense. There is no killer present for the audience to see, the entire film is full of moments where the audience will jump which makes the film so suspenseful.
